Some Highlights of Our Pre-Wedding Photo Shoots..
 |
Our pre-wedding photographer was non other than professional photographer David Chua, from DCP Studio.
We started off at Finnegans Irish Pub in KL. That was like about 8.30 am or something. Yes, we're all very smiley, sun not really out yet, and still early! So, understandably, still lotsa energy to SMILE!!
Pictures has all been reduced in size for easy loading, so, if you are interested in seeing the larger sizes, do go to our wedding picture download page here.

Still at Finnagens, we did a couple of poses next to a stairway, all of them turned out really great! I like this one above coz its one of the few ones where the entire wedding gown is shown here :) I'm looking at Alfred's direction where he's pretty much enjoying himself sitting on the stairs still! |

This pic of us were taken along one of those REALLY old old houses in KL, who would imagine that the shot would turn out so good! Really, it was really difficult taking shots along these old roads coz the pavements all broken up, uneven and so narrow! Not to mention there is like puddles of water everywhere... |

There, just a picture to show how uneven the pavement was! The fact that made it even harder to walk (other than taking care of my trailing gown) was that even my 2" heels kept on getting stuck in all the cracks...
It sure doesn't look that sunny in the photo shots, but hey, on that day, all the shots were taken in the sun! I swear I got 5 shades darker just on that day alone! But it was sure all well worth it!

This is a pretty cool shot of us in the yard of a VERY very old house. Yes, we just went into someone's yard without permission, and we were like sneaking in as quietly as possible, sitting on one of those old seats and taking as many shots as possible! No one saw us, at least that what I think, but the entire time we were there, the dog kept on barking and barking at us from inside the house! On the way back, we saw that the owner has shut his gate.. (and prob let his dog loose).

And his nose was really ticking me... so I was actually trying hard not to laugh out loud! |
That's one of my fav shots. The thing about why David is so good at taking shots is that he's really fast about it. David keeps on telling us to be natural, we hardly did any rigid poses, and he kept saying "I'm not here, I'm not here..." and snap snap away! I've heard from so many of my friends that its tiring taking pre-wed pics because they often have to POSE, look this angle, freeze it, hold the chin out....freeze...smile...and smillllle.....and SNAP! Yes, look at the process... each shot is gonna be a REAL pain! David was different, he just let us be natural, merely guiding us to face this direction and that direction, no mention on where to smile, how to smile or what to smile at! Very fun :)
|

This is one nice shot of us both. Looks great on photo, but by that time, it was almost noon, the sun was way up, and by that time, we've been walking for hours already!

Now, this is ANOTHER strange place to be taking wedding shots! Great shot though!
Yeap... we took this shot right beneath the monorail.. both of us not shy at all!! Was great fun too :)

And Yes.. we even took a few shots on the TRAIN!! It was so funny, the train passengers were staring, but pretending not to, so it was like, you know, head facing forward, but eyes looking sideways!
Last Words...
Alfred looks sooooo young with his 'spiky' new hairstyle!! Ha! I think he was slightly uncomfortable with it as it's his FIRST time he's ever... EVER... changed his hairstyle for anything or anyone! You will see later his real hairstyle in the dinner photos... |
This is a real beauty... David helped arange the veil, and I must admit, I had my doubts on whether the shot would be good, or if our faces would actually show! Hah, turned out great! I'm amazed how clearly our faces showed through the veil, coz from in there... everything looked pretty blur! Oh, and my eyelashes...kept on getting stuck to the veil!

This is one of my clear favourites... What an unlikely place to take wedding pictures at!! But I totally love the red contrast of the parking meter.. Heem... Alfred seems a lil bit tired
The roses I used for the pre-wedding photos were white roses, and they were absolutely georgeous!!! I loved them so much I just had to show it here! They were such large, fresh roses and they smelled heavenly too!!
Studio shots were taken in the evening... and I must admit that studio shots are more difficult coz there is not much distraction.. so it is harder to smile for the cameras.. Not to mention the makeup is heavier, or at least appears heavier. I like the 'no makeup' effect more..
